What Event Security Officers Do in San Antonio

AT&T Center security for Spurs games involves entry screening and crowd management for 19,000+ attendees across one of the NBA's most consistently attended arenas. Officers conduct bag checks, operate magnetometers at entry gates, manage concourse crowd flow during game operations, and respond to incidents in coordination with SAPD and arena operations staff.

Fiesta San Antonio is the most operationally unique event security environment in Texas - ten days of citywide festivals across dozens of venues simultaneously, with events ranging from intimate neighborhood celebrations to massive outdoor gatherings at Fiesta Flambeau and the Fiesta Battle of Flowers parade. Officers working Fiesta develop crowd management versatility across multiple venue types in a compressed ten-day window.',

Compensation

What This Role Pays in San Antonio, TX

SA event security: general admission/entry $15-17/hr. Arena floor and premium $17-19/hr. NBA game day AT&T Center $18-21/hr. Full-time venue security $17-20/hr with benefits.
