What You Need

Valid Texas Level 3 Commissioned Security Officer license - minimum age 21, 45-hour course, MMPI, DPS range qualification
Own firearm and duty gear - required at most Houston armed positions

Prior military or LE experience preferred for Ship Channel and critical infrastructure roles
